Bukit Barede

Barede hill located at desa Karangrejo, Borobudur. This place is relatively not too crowded by tourists. To go to Bukit Barede we could only use the motorcycle. Roads that can be fairly good and easy as most have been paved (although some roads are full of holes), cast in cement and stone typical of rural roads.

Arriving in the parking lot, we must be careful because the parking lot was paved ground in the rainy season it becomes soft and slippery. We just pay five thousand rupiah for parking and admission. From the parking lot, a trip to the summit takes about 5-10 minutes. Don't forget to bring a flashlight or other illumination tools for the road leading to the top of the hill is not equipped with adequate lighting.

At the peak of Bukit Barede, we can see Borobudur which backed row Merbabu, Merapi and Menoreh Mountains.
